Rules of the Competition

We try to keep the rules as simple as possible. But if you are unsure about any of the rules feel free to contact us for further clarification.

There are four forms of Fantasy Betting within the website. They are listed below:
  • Bet against the house
    This is when you bet against the house with the odds on offer. For example, in an event if an option is paying 1.80 and you place 100 tokens, you will receive 180 tokens back if your bet is successful. If you are unsuccessful you will lose the 100 tokens that you have staked.

  • Set a challege
    This is when you set a challenge to bet against your mate or any other person. For example, Australia are playing NZ in a rugby league match. You like NZ, you would then Set a Challenge on the events page. Someone else who prefers Australia will then have the option to bet against you by accepting your challenge. If you are successful you will receive the amount that you have staked as well as your opponents stake (i.e. you stake 100 tokens, your opponent has to stake 100 tokens as well). So you will receive 200 tokens back in total. Your opponent will lose their stake.

  • Accepting a challenge
    This is when you select a challenge that has already been set by another user. You would have to stake the same amount as the other user to accept the challenge. If you're successful, you will receive your stake as well as your opponent's stake.

  • Multi Bets
    Multi Bets is where you choose to bet on multiple events (i.e. more than one event at a time). You select the events that you would like to bet on. The system will calculate the odds that the events selected will be paying. If your events are successfuly you will win the tokens that you have staked multiplied by the odds that the Multi Bets odds calculator generated.
Token Bet Limits
For house bets, the limit is 500 tokens per bet and 1000 tokens maximum per option of an event. Challenge bets have an unlimited token limit.

Cancelling Bet
Only House Bets can be cancelled. Challenge Bets and Multi Bets cannot be cancelled. House Bets can only be cancelled if the event is still open, its before the event's closing date/time and the bet was placed no longer than 24 hours prior.

Scratched Bets
Scratched bets will be paid back to users if the field is final. Any future events with scratched options will not be paid back.

Token Top Ups
If you happen to lose all your token, you will need to get a token top. The system will then re-credit you with a specify number of tokens so you can start betting again. Remember that you cannot receive any credit top ups whilst you have events pending. You must have no events pending and a 0 token balance in order to be approved for a token top up. There are some instances where you may have long term events that you cannot cancel. Please use the contact form to let us know so we can top you up manually. Token top ups can be done on your member's page.

Activity Points
Activity Points are awarded for active users of the site. You will be awarded for performing certain actions on the website such as logging in, placing bets, updating details etc. You will notice your activity points changing the more you use the website. Activity Points will be able to redeemed for tokens or prizes at a later date. We will advise when this will is in place, so for the time being keep accumulating these points.
Age
All users must be 18 years all over. Some content on this site might not be deemed suitable for people under the age of 18 years. Users who signed up must confirm that they are 18 years or over.

Derogratory/Hate/Racism/Bad Language
If any user is deemed to have used any Derogratory/Hate/Racism/Bad Language in their messages, forum post, event comments, avatars, taglines, nickname their account will be suspended by Fantasy Sports Bet. We do not condone any of these behaviour,if you want to conduct yourself in this way, we don't want you on this site.

Cheating
If we suspect that a user has been cheating or playing unfairly we reserve the right to cancel their membership with this site. We will also forfeit any prizes they may be eligible for. Cheating may include the following:
  • Creating multiple accounts under different email addresses
  • Signing up multiple times under different email accounts to place losing challenge bets to eventual winner
  • Creating Private Event bets to win tokens of Fantasy Sports Bet accounts that they control
  • Trying to hack the website
  • Sending referals to fake email accounts in order to recieve extra tokens
If we suspect any of these reasons we will take action to suspend the account and not award any prizes to the individual.
Fantasy Sports Bet Rights
Fantasy Sports Bet has the final say on pay outs and can void bets at any time due to different circumstances. Such circumstances may include:
  • Fantasy Sports Bet has entered the event's details incorrectly
  • User is deemed to be cheating
  • Event has been postponed
